Hi Patricia... thanks for the lovely comment. Homes in good school districts always seem to retain their value even in tougher times for real estate.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel hi Alexandra... it's rare that prospective buyers, even those who still don't have children, don't ask me for a good school district.

I find in our area the ranking of the whole district reflects the schools within, and only when there are multiple elementary, always, or middle schools, not so much does it matter the rankings on the individual schools. But your school districts are much larger than ours so, can see how it will be important to know how they rank.

Will Hamm good morning, Will.... school quality is often the key criteria in buyer's decision about which home to purchase so it's really important to keep people informed about how schools rank.

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 hi Nick... our school districts are so huge and as we have neighborhood school assignments it's really critical for buyers to know where their kids are going to school and how those schools rank. We can have one side of a street assigned to excellents schools and the other side to mediocre schools.

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400 good morning, Sheila and Larry... and here in Charlotte region, buyers need to make decisions based not only on local schools, but by county, by state. It's not as simple as some people think it is. I had clients who sold their home in Union County in a neighborhood with some of the best schools in the state to move to South Carolina to a county with excellent schools where that district provided some special needs education that Union County did not.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS hi Paul... people take school issues here very seriously... I've actually heard parents arguing in a supermarket about which school is better when both schools are rated A+.

James Dray good morning, James... until I live in a house where they take me out feet first, I will always live in a neighborhood with top schools... I might not need those schools, but from a resale value they are very important.

Brian England hi Brian... that's generally true, but I've had clients who were more focused on location and neighborhood than schools because their kids attended private schools. And we have some very high end neighborhoods in Charlotte which are not necessarily in the top school assignments.
