Is Solar electric still a viable solution for us?

More now than ever. We like it because it can be part of your 203k project and may even assist you in getting a loan closed that might be falling apart due to the ratios out of sync. I met this young man and asked him to write something for my blog, see what you think? The best thing is that you can add this to the mortgage at the same time you close the loan without any loss of time due to the additional work as it all happens after the close of escrow.

My name Is Adam,

I am a solar consultant for nationwide solar.  The reason we do solar is because of the benefits home owners receive.  Solar energy saves money plain and simple, which is why it makes sense. Once the panels are on your roof they produce free electricity for you to use for decades to come. You don’t do anything except enjoy the savings, the only thing you do is pay for the equipment.  Options we have at Nationwide solar are zero down financed purchases, and cash. You save money either way. A lot of money.  Typical solar systems can save you tends of thousands over 20 years or so.  Here are some benefits: You can dramatically reduce, or get rid of your electric bill which personally I am all for. I hate bills; Shielding yourself from future increases in rates by municipalities, take advantage of federal credits which is a state by state thing. Be free of being bound by your utility company, increases your home and properties value without increasing the property tax, create local jobs in the merging market, which helps everyone, protect the environment, and have electricity production for 25 plus years.

Some common questions I hear.  What if the panels have issues? We take care of you, although giving them a wipe down if it gets dusty doesn’t hurt. Will they hurt my roof due to weight? Not at all we don’t install them on risky roofs.  No one needs to have damage to their home, we want to save you money not create an abyss that drains it. The biggest one, What about rainy days? When its light out you can see right? The sun is up so you know its day time.  The panels behave like eyes, if they sense the sun from any direction that hits the panel they generate electricity.  What if I move? The panels are tied to the house, so the next home owners will be paying for it when they buy the house.  These are some of the reasons why I jumped into solar.  I wanted to have a way to help home owners.  I didn’t used to trust solar. I lacked information and thought the same things many of you might.  However, with the information I learned I trust it completely.  The companies differ but I trust my company and what my boss does.  The bottom line is this.  Solar saves you energy, its reliable, and the products do in fact work.  It can look like a BIG purchase but its an INVESTMENT . The difference between solar, vs a car or house?  Solar pays for itself and gives back, neither a car or house have that.  Saving home owners money is a victory in the eyes of businessman.  We all live in this world together, lets help each other thrive.  Who knows, maybe solar will pay for your child’s next car, or provide for a fund you want to make for a baby on the way.  Maybe it will pay for a trip to the Bahamas for an anniversary.  What ever the case, You get more of your hard earned money back.  That’s a win for me.

One side note I will make sure to add, financing is always after approval but we all know that.

If you have any questions please reach out to me, I would love to take care of you and get you some beautiful solar energy and savings.  I can be reached at I can be reached at 360-210-3324 or AdamChurchill@comcast.net Either will work just fine, if one doesn’t the other absolutely will!  Please share my information and this beautiful investment with all your circles, the more of you I get to help the more honor and privilege I am.  It’s a blessing to do this for you!

Well, there it is in a nutshell. What is in it for me, the 203k consultant? Simply this, we can finance your purchase of a solar electric system as part of your 203k. If you couple an EEM (Energy Efficient Mortgage) with your 203k loan you can lower the buyer's ratios and save a deal. We had one years ago where the loan was due to close on the day after Christmas and the borrower's filled their credit cards up with gifts, to the tune of $8,000. The borrowers remembered me telling them that if anything didn't feel right or go the way they thought it should they should contact me. They did, I called the loan officer who was so excited when we talked as he had forgotten that little trick... we were able to close just one day later than anticipated using the EEM. This was just another time were able to "save the day" and a few paychecks. If you ever have an issue with a 203k loan, we might be able to assist you... go to www.203k911.com we'll do what we can and that call is FREE.

Thank you very much Adam for your thoughts, we appreciate it.

Many agents need to learn about the features of 203(k) financing.

Take care, be safe and have a great day.

When you couple it with an EEM (Energy Efficient Mortgage) it become dynamic. You can gain a loan amount up to 5% over the maximum mortgage for the 203k or use it to save a deal if their ratios are weak.
