Listings Are Found With Offline Marketing and The Power of Print!!

If you’re a listing agent, you know that listings are found with offline marketing and buyers are found online. That’s a quick statement to refresh everyone’s memory. I market for listings.

Having said that, all methods of offline marketing should complement each other. Direct mail marketing, with postcards offering a “Free Market Analysis,” is how my marketing for listings always begins.

Signage becomes the next important factor. The strength and worthiness of the post and “for sale sign” can’t be replaced and must not be eliminated.

Signage a major factor with 24/7 continuous marketing. It’s a means of displaying every status change from “Just Listed to Sold” plus everything in between. It complements the status changes of the postcard mailings. Our monthly newspaper marketing is a full page and always displays the Free Market Analysis postcard for that month plus the status of each listing.

The more visible the marketing pieces the greater the chance of the phone ringing. Be everywhere. Be visible. Be Top of Mind.

Visibility strengthens your Brand, and the more that happens the greater the number of listings for you. There’s a correlation between the magnitude of marketing and the number of listings secured; but remember, it takes money to make money!!

Be Everywhere. Be Visible. Be Top of Mind.

Myrl Jeffcoat the very best method to target market is direct mail marketing.... this is especially effective if you're searching for a style of home in a certain price range.... or land.... multi family homes and specifically 2,3 or 4 family homes.... I could go on and on.

HI Barbara Todaro - You do have to spend money to make money.  It seems that many don't get this.  I have watched many companies when things are not going well the first thing they do is let their sales staff go.  Are you kidding me?

Morning Barbara.

Can't argue with the Queen of print marketing. I found out yesterday the largest newspaper in our state is going digital.  A sign of the times, pity

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® that's insane.... they'd do well to just close their door.... the sales staff is the life line of a real estate office.... feed them... add funds to the marketing and assist their efforts....

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS everything I know is just common sense..... and I learn every day....

I still do not see how you do it without owning a printing company. All that printing can't be cheap even DIY but you have the secret sauce for sure.

Those who are afraid to spend money on marketing are doomed from the beginning. I'll admit that there is much that can be done spending time instead of money, but that has to be backed up with spending money.

The right Charlotte REALTOR!

Visibility absolutely strengthens the brand, Barbara! I think a lot of agents try it a few times and lack consistency and thus, no results...no brand recognition.

Love the message!
