If you’re a listing agent, you know that listings are found with offline marketing and buyers are found online. That’s a quick statement to refresh everyone’s memory. I market for listings.
Having said that, all methods of offline marketing should complement each other. Direct mail marketing, with postcards offering a “Free Market Analysis,” is how my marketing for listings always begins.
Signage becomes the next important factor. The strength and worthiness of the post and “for sale sign” can’t be replaced and must not be eliminated.
Signage a major factor with 24/7 continuous marketing. It’s a means of displaying every status change from “Just Listed to Sold” plus everything in between. It complements the status changes of the postcard mailings. Our monthly newspaper marketing is a full page and always displays the Free Market Analysis postcard for that month plus the status of each listing.
The more visible the marketing pieces the greater the chance of the phone ringing. Be everywhere. Be visible. Be Top of Mind.
Visibility strengthens your Brand, and the more that happens the greater the number of listings for you. There’s a correlation between the magnitude of marketing and the number of listings secured; but remember, it takes money to make money!!
