Barbara Todaro, I used this quote today on my radio show...describing another RE agent.

I agree with you, but of course I've read articles that say the opposite. "They aren't looking for a mommy - they want your skill." Different strokes for different folks, but I'll go with the caring.

The most astounding part of this essay is your photo with an amazing load of weights!!!  Thanks for the inspiration!

Barbara, that motto is spot on. It is very true, people really don't care what you know if they don't understand that you actually care about *them*!

Our clients care about out experience and knowledge. Our clients want us to care about their needs, goals and, ultimately, their success with us helping them. And then appreciate that we do not stop caring about them after the transaction closes.

Barbara,  Caring...what a great theme for postcard and newspaper ad.  Love the branding by tying multiple marketing pieces by theme.  Clearly recognizable at a glance.  More clients will come your way instantly understanding the value your team offers.  As you said, they know if indeed an agent really cares.

Yes, sincerity goes a long way Barbara! Besides quarterly mailings and phone  calls, I have started randomly picking 5 past and present clients to deliver a Veyo pie to each month. It is very exciting when they get to pick their favorite flavor. Thanks for the thought-full post!

Spot on for your thoughts!

I have been using the phrase, "Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care" for over 40 years when I read it somewhere in an article or book.  The essence of our business is all about caring and the check we receive at the closing is the "icing on the cake" is the remuneration for addressing the "needs and wants" of all our clients during the process!

Barbara I like this post alot.  I'm not a thief but I'm going to have to steal this and place in my mental bag.

I have called my clients throughout COVID-19.   I find they are happy to hear from me and have more time to talk.  Knowing someone is calling to see how they are doing and if they need anything means a lot!  Our guys here are still closed (opened for a few weeks but went back on lockdown).  Stay safe!
