Kekaha, Kauai, HI Neighborhood Information and Market Report

The Kekaha Neighborhood

Kekaha is a census-designated place and small beach town southwest of the island of Kauai, Hawaii. The name of the community translates to "The Place" and is well known for its beautiful beaches. The area serves as a remote destination perfect for those looking for a place to visit that's off the beaten path and detached from the busier tourist areas of the island. The beach is not suitable for swimming here, but you can still enjoy taking walks along the refreshing shores and enjoy the fresh ocean air. The area also serves as an ideal stop for those planning to trek the Waimea Canyon State Park and the many nature trails and forest reserves further north. This is the last town you can visit before the nature preserve, so it's best to stock up on everything you need whenever you visit the town to go to the forest.

Real Estate in Kekaha is a mix of plantation-era homes, newer luxury developments, and classic Hawaiian single-family dwellings. There are no notable residential developments or big condominiums in the area, unlike other towns to the east. However, if you're in the market for classic ranch-style homes with spacious open floor layouts and a welcoming community, then you'll surely love what this community has to offer.
