Summerlin is one of the largest master planned communities in the US. It's in Las Vegas and is a highly affluent and desirable destination for home owners. One would expect new Summerlin homes wouldn't be affordable, especially since Summerlin home prices can reach up to $30 million!! Add to that all the relocation focused luxury home buyers now relocating from high tax states to Las Vegas while covid19 continues to challenge the entire country.
You are probably asking yourself what's price range is considered affordable in the Las Vegas Summerlin area. It will surprise you. How about a base single family home price in the low $300's? Until recently that price point wasn't easy to find in Summerlin. Now it is and as this new home community is being discovered sales are brisk.
A new Summerlin Village has just been added which will be comprised of an estimated 7 neighborhoods. The new village is Redpoint Square which will have an urban feel to it and one section will include modern century modern and contemporary design. For the first time that I've seen, one builder is offering affordable duplexes with a range of exterior elevations from a Spanish look to contemporary. Prices start in the low $300's for the base price before lot premium, structural options and interior options. I've sold several of these single family attached homes and that's prior to any models being built! With approximately 1500 sq feet, these two story single family duplexes will have 3 bedrooms, 2 car garages and some elevations will have balconies and/or patios. The neighborhood I'm describing is Las Vegas Summerlin Moro Rock Neighborhood when you visit my neighborhood page.
