Motivational Monday...Deeds Not Just Words
When you’ve been in a stay-at-home mode for about 4 months now you hear and read a lot of words.
Companies telling you how they’re helping us all get through this.
Businesses touting their product that is the only one that will work for you.
Celebrities who via tweets or other media tell you their thoughts about what should be done.
So many words that bombard you daily...it makes you wonder if any of what is being said or written is true. Let’s face it...anyone can talk.
Or from an old ad for hamburgers...Where’s the beef?
It’s been discussed here in posts about marketing...show your clients or would-be clients by your deeds and actions. It’s not enough to take out a full-page ad as a shout out of what you can do.
Your deeds in your community...your recommendations from clients ...how you handle the bumps in the road to closing the sale...your actions are what count.
Same thing in our personal lives. How we tell our children to behave or live their lives can’t hold a candle to how they observe us handling our own lives.
Words are hollow if the action or inaction or action-to-the-contrary don’t match what was said.
Great thoughts speak only to the thoughtful mind, but great actions speak to all mankind. Theodore Roosevelt
