This was one contest I could not pass up, and I knew exactly who I would reach out to, Ron and Alexandra Seigel. (R&A). As a member of Activerain for over a dozen years I have seen several great people come and go, and have my share of favorites that I follow, but I can honestly say that I feel I resonate more with these two than any others here, because I believe wholeheartedly in their approach to branding and niche markets. (that may be obvious if you see my tag line below about good agents vs great agents).
I had been meaning to reach out to Ron and Alexandra for a few weeks now, but this contest offered by Kathy Streib was the catalyst to make the call. My reasons were three-fold,
- First - I thought that what R&A had to say would be very valuable to all of my agents, to reinforce how powerful niches can be to an agent
- Second - my son is starting the process of getting his real estate license, and if I ever had any advice for a newbie, it would be to become a specialist, and who knows how to do that better than R&A - I want my son to have the absolute best opportunity for success in his career.
- Third - I really enjoy talking with R&A
- Bonus - for those in the golf world, please note that R&A (Ron and Alexandra) also stands for Royal and Ancient Golf Club, they help put the rules of golf in place and maintain them. Now see, you just learned something, isn't reading an amazing thing?
I had reached out a few years ago to Ron and Alexandra and they are always so warm and welcoming, it feels like we have known each other for years. They make you feel like an old friend.
I know that people who are at the top of their professions, whether it be sports, medicine, law, or even real estate, know what their brand is and how to communicate that brand message to their audience, just like R&A do in their world, they are at the top for a reason, and if you need to figure out your brand, or your niche, there is nobody better to reach out to.
Thank you Kathy Streib for this contest - it is a reminder of why I joined Activerain in the first place, a place to learn, to collaborate and help one another.
