Over the last 2 or 3 years, I've written a bunch of blog posts on my site about Farmhouse Style Decor. In case you haven't noticed, Farmhouse Decor is on the rise, along with a growing desire for simplicity and nostalgia.
Farmhouse style certainly isn't for everyone. But, it is a style that can either be done DIY and very affordably or done a more premium level (especially as some prefer wider plank or reclaimed wood. So, it appears to work for most budgets.
Today, I was updating an article about Modern Farmhouse Bathrooms. And, if you're not sure what Farmhouse style looks like, feel free to check it out. Or, if you love Farmhouse Style and just want to get some desig inspiration, you can also check it out. I have 21 examples of Farmhouse Style bathrooms, and some of them are pretty cool.
Over the years, I've noticed that I have a lot of these sort of articles. I have Farmhouse paint colors, Farmhouse sinks, Farmhouse hardwood, How to decorate with shiplap, bedrooms with shiplap, an article on sliding barn doors and I think a few more.
I've also incorporated this style into my trend posts, including my hardwood flooring trends and home decor trends.
I don't think I've done one yet on Farmhouse Kitchens. Maybe I should. Or maybe I figured it was too competitive and I'd never have a chance of ranking.
Oh, and I almost forgot that I have a Farmhouse Christmas Decor article which has done very well on Pinterest, especially during the holiday season (obviously).
What do you think about Farmhouse Decor? Do you love it or hate it? Or maybe you're neutral...or just don't care. I don't mean whether it's good for selling a house, but rather what do you think about in general? Do you enjoy spending time in homes that are decorated in this style? Do they give you a warm and comforting feeling? Or is it a major turn off?
Do you have any ideas for future articles I should write on this topic?
