It seems to be getting tougher and tougher to determine what is fact and what is fiction in the world.

I think that many are too lazy to dig for facts, because it takes time to find the truth.  Having had parents who were steeped in research (my mother was a food research head librarian, and my father was a civil engineer and a professor) facts ruled.  And they had to be credible and from credible sources, which these days are far and few.  A

Excellent post Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets . I think the problem today is we can find "experts" on the extreme end of all things and most people only investigate the "experts" that reflect their own opinion, thus nothing changes.

Hi Thomas... this issue of fear or opinion that's not based on facts is something that's been around a long time... right now it is especially relevant. I've come across a lot of people whose entire attitude in life is "don't confuse me with the facts."

Hello Thomas - it seems many say phooey to fact-finding as evidenced by the increasing number of scientists and medical experts in recent times.  Of course, finding opinions on the current real estate market in ANY location at ANY time, is fair game that has a long history.   Right?
