Are you looking at your business right now and not happy with something? Mad at yourself because you aren't using your time at the office effectively? Not keeping in touch with everyone you need to be? Here are a few tips to help you move forward and get going again!
Take an inventory of your "incompletion."
•1. What do you have on your to-do list you have even started
•2. What do you want to change but haven't
•3. What do you want to stop but haven't or feel like you can't
•4. Have you left something's unsaid
•5. Things you want to learn but haven't
Assign time frames to your list
Start crossing things off!!!!!
So if you want to try to keep in better touch with your past clients, WRITE IT DOWN. How many do you want to call...all of them? How many do you have to call in one day to get it done with in the time frame you want to. EX. I have 200 people I want to call and want to call them monthly. I have to call 7 people a day to get it done in a month. So how long do I need to block off in my schedule to make sure I get this done every day??? Well that depends. Start small. Go with 5 minutes a phone call. That is only 35 minutes actually talking to people.
So to prepare for this make yourself a list with all the people you are going to call on it. Save it on your desk top and print it off the first day of the month. Call the first 7 and cross off as you go. If you want to go a step further, if you get a voicemail, then write a note saying you are sorry that you missed them and hope to talk soon. CROSS THEM OFF AS YOU GO!!! Nothing is better than seeing your progress.
So go out there and make your list of whatever it might be that you want to get done and start crossing it off!!!
