Hello Sharon - I knew July 22 was National Hammock Day(and assumed you might too).  It's not wasteful at all - that scene could be a potential powerful pondering possibility.  Perhaps.

Cute photos, Sharon (then again, what else is new). Just a bit too hot here to lie around in a hammock (over 100 degree with the heat factor). But I can be very happy hanging out in my air conditioned home.

Good Morning Sharon Tara

The lazy days of Summer are always bringing remembrance of childhood days being outside hangin' out, fishing, camping, swimming. Great pictures

Sharon,

We do agree with that saying.  Ron an I have a beautiful hammock that we had on the deck of our former home here...It now sits dismantled in the garage, as we do not have enough room here...We will use it againl  A

Michael Jacobs  This pic was taken almost exactly a year ago. We took Jack and Tom camping for a couple of days. The site was great...on the water with the beach right next to us. Not sure if we will be camping at all this year. Sad.

Nina Hollander  We are finally getting a break from the heat today, but expecting rain. I've never been a hammock fan, but especially not in the heat!

Doug Dawes  I took these pics when we took Tom and his brother camping last summer. I hope the trip has lasting memories for the boys.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel  I'm sure you have plenty of other ways to "waste time" in a good way!

He looks pretty comfortable!  It reminds me that I need to figure out a way to get my hammock up and operational.  I bought a nice one a long time ago when I was in Mexico, but it didn't fit properly where I was thinking it would, so I kind of gave up on it, haha.

Hi Sharon Tara - I would not mind resting in a nice hammock today.

Even if I could get in that hammock , most likely wouldn't be able to get out easily and might fall to the ground with a thud. Not going to happen. Lol

Brian England  Good luck with that. I hope when you do find a place for it, you send us a pic of you enjoying it!

Grant Schneider  Well I hope you find a way to make that happen!

Sharon Lee  Yea, I'm not a fan. I've not been comfortable when I have tried and, as you describe, the dismount is not always pretty.  LOL

Can't you just photoshop me into the hammock?

Of course I could, but that wouldn't be nearly as fun as seeing you in a real one!

Great pic!  - To me, wasted time is spent using negative energy, otherwise, no time is wasted.

Ahhh Sharon- this brings back memories of when we would spend weekends in the Keys. Everyone wanted their share of hammock time.

Sheri Sperry - MCNE®   I do agree with you, however I have said many times "well there goes x minutes I'll never get back."  LOL

Kathy Streib  I've just never been a hammock enjoyer. LOL

Love a hammock. And agree with your conclusion too - if you're enjoying time, it isn't wasted. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Wonderful photos, of course.
