Fort Theatre Dentistry is my teeth preservation favorites!! Doc Walter Martin is the man!! He has taken care of my teeth for 17 years!
Why a blog about my visit to the Dentist? Because there is real estate business at the Dentist office my friends. If you are not asking for it…you are missing out!! 
My Dentist remodeled an old theatre into his dental office about 20 years ago. Each room has a movie theme and it is fun experience…plus he is a great Dentist and has an awesome staff!
Yesterday I went in for a checkup and cleaning…this morning I was asked to leave a review…here is that review.
I love going to Fort Theatre Dentistry!
My morning started with giddy excitement as I brushed and flossed my teeth preparing for my tri-annual teeth cleaning with Becky. Never want to go in with bad breath so I also took a double shot of Aloe Vera mouth wash from the Natural Dentist...and stayed away from the usual black coffee rinse.
As I pulled up in my truck outside and parked by the shiny new Cadillac, the sky was growing darker.
I walked into the Foyer and locked eyes with Jessie and went through the current standard Wuhan Chinese Covid -19 pandemic apocalypse routine by saying yes to the No questions...meaning Yes the answers are still no...then got shot in the head by the thermometer I think. I had to sign the waiver/disclaimer/unread paper (but I used an alias).
I have had my temperature taken so often recently I think I have an indentation putting pressure on my skull and causing me to forget how many times it has been done or where.
Anyway...I walked in from the foyer to the front desk...exchanged pleasantries with Patty...walked to my 2nd favorite Chair at Fort Theatre. Doc Martin came bebopping by and said Hi to the other client and myself as we all prepared for our interactions in the back room! The gals up front are always so nice to me...even though I can be blunt, belligerent, and stubborn...probably because they are scared of my wife...like me!! (Kidding)
Then my eyes lit up when Becky came walking down the hall. 
She invited me to a semi private room where she massaged my gums, tickled my ivory’s, played a mechanical melody on the edges of my teeth, and in general bathed my mouth with semi warm water, gently? rattled around with a roto rooter grinder, some shiny and sharp object most people would never put in their mouth, and of course finger massages for well over a half an hour.
Becky is a well-known x-ray photographer and took some excellent quality shots of my choppers with the massive camera that lurks in the corner waiting for its chance to dance. Once the cleaning was finished, she topped it off with a cinnamon based polish...I requested a Fireball polish...but this was as close as she could get to that request. It was different this time as Becky had a full-face shield on and I must say they will not be a new fashion statement although I suppose we will see them on the Versace runway soon...if not already.
At this point Doc Martin came in and I checked his shoes and once again I do not think they were Doc Martins...but he insists they are indeed his shoes…thus making them Doc Martin’s. We chatted a bit about life...and I let him know the new crown that is about a month old was happy being surrounded by new friends.
Walter did the traditional Dental physical and made sure I could still comfortably chew steak with no issues...said I looked pretty good...which ain't bad for this old man that has seen a ton of battles using his mouth as a stopping point for knuckles, kid's heads, doors, etc. I told him someday I want biceps like he has.
We chatted about the thunderstorm he and his staff and families got caught in while rafting and the hail they endured. I thanked him for the no invite and meant it this time. He has an incredible staff and they have so much fun together and do such great work. I love?
them all...and consider all of them friends.
It was early in the day but late in the appointment and I gathered my new toothbrush and tube of paste gave Becky an unapproved CDC hug...(I am a hugger and this fake pandemic has been hard on my hugs)...and I checked out...no money out of pocket was required...(I know we had credit on our account)...
I grabbed a cup of Joe from the back room...made some silly ass comment to Patty and Jessie...and walked outside...Mother Nature was sad I was leaving and wept all over that shiny clean Cadillac. I love going to Fort Theatre Dentistry!
