Good morning Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets - Oh that is really an easy one for me. I have a few things I am not good at.

Barbara Todaro my real estate buddy Ben Andrews in Happy Valley, Oregon always told me 80% Go! Don't wait to be perfect, get good, then get going, the rest happens/develops in the doing.
Hi Thomas,
First of all as much as I would like to play the guitar and the drums, I'm amazingly bad! Well, bad is not the word others use. It's more like atrocious!
As for taking action, that's always good advice because you can't get anywhere if you don't.
On the things that I'm not good at (which are many), I delegate.

Hi Thomas, Thanks for reminding us that we don't have to be good at everything we try. I believe you should put your time and energy into being good at one thing - your job or profession. The things/hobbies you do in your spare time - should be for enjoyment not perfection.

Jeffrey Richman yes-a good point you made - I too hire my weaknesses and delegate at work. At play, it's just got to be fun...no matter how good or bad...just fun. Kinda like Karaoke night. Thank you for popping by the post! ![]()
Hi Thomas- I love this!!! There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing what gives us joy even if we're not good at doing it!

I'm with you about the music. I have a digital piano, acoustic guitar and flute. I love playing them but in my mediocre fashion. I am sure I would improve if I were to practice regularly but I'm actually fine with everything the way it is. It's fun.

Kat Palmiotti with music, it must be fun first. Heck, look at The Clash and The Sex Pistols, two punk bands that got famous while barely knowing how to play their instruments, but they had fun learning. Keep up your music, life would be so boring without musicians
thank you for popping by my post.

Good morning, Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor e-Pro, CRS, RCS-D, Vets what a great post..... not everyone can do everything well, but if we enjoy doing something because we can do it, that's a "wonderful happening"...
