There Is No Shortage

Of Things

Where We Can B!tch But...

Given the recent use of the word as a noun, I would like to address the subject as a verb.  You may prefer to call it complain, gripe or whine.  One need not travel far to find grumblings and groanings taking place all around us.  You know, there are many, likely far too many, things where we have no control but we can control our attitude and approach to situations.

Beth Atalay wrote a featured post Saturday that made it evident that ActiveRain and social media of all sorts is not immune.  Pause.  Reflect.  It’s important.  I admit I can go too far on occasion so I am not placing myself as an example of decorum.  I remain a work-in-progress.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - good for you.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - one of things I appreciate about Facebook is the ability to "snooze" those I follow.  I have found "out of sight, out of mind" does work at times.  The AR glitches may have unintentional snooze feature now that I think about it.

And nobody's perfect either!  Great reminder not to take life too seriously as well!

Good Wednesday morning, Michael.

I hope all is going well for you.

The constant 504 Gateway Time-out notices are very discouraging.

I can assure you, if I get through this hell that is happening here in the Bay Area from the fires, I will be one happier camper and the number one goal, no more bitches, NONE. Thanks for reminding to do so, cheers cvc

Jan Green - there are two(and often more) sides to a story, an issue or a situation - although it can be difficult, accentuate the positive can put a good spin on many aspects of life.

Roy Kelley - that issue remains a determining factor in the time I allot to this forum.  I remain hopeful yet reality-based.

Curtis Van Carter - I hope that situation is solved soon.  Be safe.  Stay positive.

Ha! You and me both Michael Jacobs seems we were on similar self-reflective wave lengths on our most recent posts. Great thought for the day here. I struggle to be an example every day, I will be in progess until the day they box me up.

Hello Michael... at the end of the day it is about our attitude towards any obstacles that cross our path. Then again, a good bitch session now and again is very soul-cleansing I've found!

Hi Michael, Yes, I agree, when you are about to complain - pause, if you can; reflect from someone else's shoes, and if needed move on, or make a comment. But pausing before that is important.

Hi Michael Jacobs, ActiveRain has been working great today so I managed to spend some time here, lets hope it stays this way. We all get frustrated from time to time, it happens.   To become an individual who is a habitual complainer is not fun. Tomorrow is another day, the sun will shine once again.

Patricia Kennedy - it's good to see mention of Willie the Labroodle once again.  I hope he continues to do well and with your proper care any whining or foul behavior should be kept to a minimum while maximizing those important tummy rubs.

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - progress remains a positive thought, right?  At least I think so yet there are times I understand change is not associated with it.  And I guess the word that goes along with the term "work" can be subject to much interpretation.  And so it continues. . .

Hello Paul - I apologize for the long delay in responding.  As you know the AR gremlins are continuing to wreak havoc when it comes to notifications and other devilish behavior.  I appreciate the comment and the insight which accompanies when you visit.

Michal, I am so busy and so isolated during this pandemic...just do not get out too often except with family; do not really have too many pet peeves right now.  Oh yah,  ActiveRain!!!!!!  What in the heck did they recently do with the software???????  But in regard to the family, we are so very happy to spend some time together that everyone is so kind and loving and we just laugh and laugh and laugh a-n-d wear our masks :)  I once had a Holy Card that had a picture of 3  monkeys, similar to your canstock photo.  The caption on the card:  See no, Hear no, Speak no evil.  Guess that might include whining and bitching.
