Motivational Monday… Getting Excited Over Alcohol (No...Not That Kind!)
Since the beginning of the year, many of us have discovered bare or empty shelves of items that are needed. For example, there was the infamous toilet paper run or liquor stores running short of vodka that could be made into hand sanitizer.
Larry loves to bake so I was able to stock up on flour and sugar, however, there were a few weeks when we could not find bread flour and he ended up ordering yeast from who knows where.
So when I ran into Target Sunday morning and found a large bottle of alcohol and Clorox-like wipes I couldn’t wait to share the news with Larry! Up until a month ago, you couldn’t find any alcohol or wipes.
It’s funny how the little things in life can bring us so much joy and happiness if we just open our minds to it.
I could complain about not being able to get a disinfectant spray or other items but where would that leave me? I’d become that old lady everyone wants to avoid.
Choose to be grateful for what you have and you’ll find yourself forgetting about the things you think are missing.
Be grateful for what you have and stop complaining - it bores everybody else, does you no good, and doesn't solve any problems. Zig Ziglar
