For anyone interacting with technology on the job, there's a System Administrator keeping it all secure and functional.
While often behind the scenes, a System Administrator is the person in charge of the Information Technology (IT) Team, and all that they work on. The Sys Admin and team make sure that all connections and systems are secure, that both Internet and Intranets are running smoothly, and that all are protected against cyberattacks-as well as keep the important printer-network online.
Employees may not always see the System Administrator, but what the Sys Admin does makes it possible for everyone else to effectively do their jobs.
Sometimes people get frustrated with technology-- demanding it do whatever task we've requested faster and more efficiently.
It's important to recognize the constant effort this job requires. The cyber world is constantly changing and it's because of them that online security stays strong and up-to-date. They must constantly learn about how to protect against new threats as well as learn new techology and tools to keep operations safe and running.
Consider giving the hard-working System Administrator and tech team members a genuine thank you. So try to find whatever control room they're in or desk they're under so they know their work is appreciated!
