REI, a national chain that sells clothes and gear for the outdoors, has moved to Gainesville. The company announced this month that it would be opening a 23,000 square foot store at Butler Town Center, although its opening would come with restrictions to help combat the novel coronavirus. REI is also donating $10,000 to the local community to help with the economic recovery efforts.
