1 John 4:7-8
“Dear Friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
Realize that everyone can have their off days, stressful moments, or trying time periods and we should do our best to give them the grace to grow from those challenges. And in those moments if that person does not treat you with love, you can show them love by being kind and loving despite of their display of lacking love. And if you are the person who finds yourself struggling to be a loving person then you continue to find yourself in the right place because you are seeking the answer.
Right now if someone is having a hard time loving it means they either don’t know God, which is very possible for someone not reading this. And if that person is you it means you are currently on an intellectual/carnal mind understanding of God. You are still questioning how can I love this person who hurt me? Or how can I love people that are committing crimes in the world? Or how can I love because of this lingering hurt from my past that seems to come to mind too often?
We will revisit forgiveness in the future. For now understand that everyone really needs a re birth or renewing of the mind to know God. And to know God is love. And I personally need that renewing daily. Each day has its distraction, challenge, and moment of testing where I may not always respond with love. You too should not get down if you experience this. Know that as you continue to seek God, and live in a more heavenly way LOVING yourself, your neighbor and your enemies will start to become more natural and automatic. It will soon enough be part of you because God lives in you and is teaching you LOVE.
I ABIDE IN GOD, GOD LIVES IN ME, HIS LOVE IS IN ME, AND FLOWS FROM ME!
