There are times when showing a home, and the buyers are only concerned about their existing furniture being a perfect fit in the new home. They walk through the house with a tape measure and a list of their belonging.
The question' will this fit' is repeated in each room.
Here's something for you to ponder.
You've lived in your home for many years. Furnished just the way you like, the right pieces for all the right spaces. Now it's time to move to a new home. It could be out of state. It could be from the big house to a big condo or townhouse. It could be a condo to a bigger new home etc.
There is a frenzy' will it fit in my new space,' can't buy that house because our custom furnishing is too bulky, too tall, or won't make it up the stairs.
You are now purchasing a home, not for you, but your headboard, credenza, or antique soda machine.
Maybe you could sell your home furnished. After all, it is perfect. You picked it.
Move on finding the perfect new home and choose the decor perfect for the new residence.
Have you asked?
Would you like to buy my home furnished?
What a convenience. No movers. No packers. No furniture in transit. No selling, no hauling, no waiting for charity pick up.
During this pandemic...reduce contact from the numerous people that are involved with this transition.
For everyone?
Not!
But maybe it's something to consider.
Think about it. Are you buying a home for you and your family, OR are you buying for your furniture.
