2020 is the year of online schedules and that is why people are using online calendars better than before to keep track of the schedule for their work-life or their personal life. and Microsoft calendar is one of the top mainstream choices.

Here we will introduce you to the outlook calendar as in Microsoft office 365. So let's start by discussing the calendar and whether it is supported by your Office 365 features with enhanced flexibility and functionality.

Microsoft Calendar

All of us work in Outlook all day. I'll concentrate on how to get the most value from the Microsoft Office 365 calendar app's features. The point is, so far as the common calendar history goes, you probably won't find a big difference with the move to the Office 365 calendar. Nonetheless, there are some great features that are going to make you a calendar pro.

For Microsoft Office 365, the ease of use has improved until now. Intuitive options such as hovering or pressing events on your calendar to see information quickly, moving and reducing calendar objects, or double-clicking to build or update clearly make the Office calendar great.

Create a Schedule

Tap the Outlook Calendar slot any time, and start typing to make an appointment or arrange a meeting. You can choose to have a tone or a notification that reminds you of the dates for meetings and activities, and for easy recognition, you can put a certain colour for the selected objects.

Set Up Appointments

Pick a time on the calendar for the Schedule, establish an invitation for a meeting and select the invitees. Outlook lets you find the approximate time when the guests are all available. If you deliver the invitation to a meeting by mail, the invited guests will receive the request in their mailbox. Once the invitees access the submission, they will refuse, accept or reject your meeting tentatively by a simple click on a button.

If your request clashes with an activity on the schedule of the attendees, Outlook will show a warning. If you as the planner of the session allow this, invitees may recommend an alternate time for the meeting. As the moderator, by launching the request, you can monitor who agrees or rejects the request, or who prefers another time for the meeting.

Group Schedule Display

You can develop calendars which will showcase a bunch of relevant participants or services having schedules. For reference, you can see the schedules of the people in your department or for the resources in your house, such as meeting rooms. That means that you can easily arrange meetings.

Sideway View Calendars

You can exhibit several calendars that you have built beside each other, as well as calendars that other Office people create. For example, you can create a new calendar for your personal appointments and check your workplace and leisure calendars at once.

You will also be able to duplicate the schedule and transfer these timetables between the calendars that are displayed. To easily access your own schedule and access other related calendars, use the Navigation Pane. You may set up appointments on shared calendars, based on the permits given by the creator of the calendar.

Overlay View

one of the view options includes an overlay view and this lets you use the overlay view to show several calendars you have made, along with calendars that other Outlook users share.  for your personal appointments, you can build a different calendar and add your business and private calendars to easily see if you have complications or spare time.

Microsoft Sharepoints

Once you have the connectivity to a SharePoint account, you can use your Outlook Calendar to display the listings of events from that platform. In Outlook, you can adjust the list, even when you are offline. If you reconnect to the Internet, the updates will automatically sync up. You could therefore side-by-side view the SharePoint calendars with other private or group calendars.

Email Calendars

Benefit of an Online Calendar, you can attach your calendar to an e-mail and send it to the selected recipient, but retain control of how much of the information can be exchanged. Your calendar details appear as an Internet Calendar attachment in the email message body and can be opened by the recipient in Outlook.

Access another Calendar
One person may use his or her own copy of Outlook with the Delegate Access function to conveniently access the other calendar. An administrative assistant, for example, will handle a manager's calendar. Once the manager appoints the coordinator as a delegate, the assistant may make, transfer, or withdraw appointments, and may schedule meetings on behalf of the owner.

Either you are using the standard version or the Office 365 commercial version, Microsoft believes you are handling complex tasks and other people's organizational needs that is why you can find the features in Office 365 Calendar that satisfy these assumptions efficiently.
