I want honor my adopted Dad, Dan Woodworth, today. I have known him for 12 years, since I was 18 years old.
Here are some of the things he has taught me:
- How to interview for a job
- How to present myself for a potential employer
- How to drive a car
- How to speak on the phone
- How to be the best worker I can be
- How to stand up to controlling roommates
- How to speak in public
- How to be a man of God
- How to be faithful a husband and father
- How to have integrity in all you do
- How to respect people, shake their hand and look them in the eyes
- How to keep a clean car
- How to prepare for a road trip properly
- How to be a Team Player
- How to think of others before myself
- How to use my manners
- How to walk with my shoulders back and my head held high
- How to be a good citizen
- How to be a good man
- How to run things by him before I make decisions. I know I can trust him.
- How to laugh at myself and not take myself so seriously
- How to loosen up and not be too stiff
Happy Father's Day Dad!
