United Airlines has chosen North Olmsted-based CommutAir to continue flying under its United Express label, a decision that jeopardizes the future of another small carrier with strong Cleveland ties.
United said this week that it planned to end its relationship with ExpressJet, with headquarters in Atlanta and a maintenance base at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
