Maryland State Fair 2020 Cancelled
The latest casualty of Covid-19 in Maryland is the cancelation of the Maryland State Fair.
Over 500,000 people flock to the 11 Best Days of Summer every year and it is impossible for the Maryland State Fair to police social distancing and wearing of masks with that many people in one place at one time and keep everyone safe and healthy.
There will still be livestock showings but they will not be open to the public.
I have attended the Maryland State Fair every year since I moved to Maryland and my kids and I have made it a family outing. But, health and safety is paramount. Hopefully, we'll all be back at the Fair next year.
