Florida Realtors where are your lenders of choice? MIA?
I recall way back in 2003 when I started in the mortgage business the refinace boom was in full effect and Realtors could not even get a loan officer on the phone or to return an email. Every lender was slammed with refinances, no one really cared about the purchase business because loan officers were making so much money just taking call and making calls for refinances. So many real estate agents were left behind by their so called go to lenders.
I will admit that I too was slammed with refinances closing on avg 30-40 loans a month but I was forfunete to have an amazing manager who each week in our team meetings would push us to GO OUT OR MAKE CALLS TO REAL ESTATE AGENTS AND HELP THEM GET THEIR LOANS CLOSED! He had been through many refinance cycles and made it very clear to all of us that "it will come to an end" and when it does we will be in a dog fight with all the loan officers who neglected their Realtor Partners but if we get out and service their clients the dog fight will never happen because we were their when others were not.
I have been calling on Florida Realtors to help those who have been completely ignorned by their go to lenders or have been short changed on service. My purchase closings are increasing weekly and new relationships are being formed. We as a company always put purchase over refinances, we are still closing purchases in 30 days or less!
