I ordered two new brands of dried figs this month.  One batch still attached to drying string.  But miss the fresh ones we used to pick off the trees.

I had figs on a panini the other night. It was asiago cheese, proscuitto, goat cheese, carmelized onions, and figs cooked in a bit of water and honey.  YUMMMMMMM

Endre Barath, Jr. While a snowbird in NW Vegas both TJ's and Sprouts came in w/in a mile.  Sprouts had the best salad bar, a go to plus the local Chipotle. Sadly none of the 3 are home here.  Wegmans though is similar, larger and the cafes have great selection but still a drive from the Poconos.

Great idea...I'm always looking for something to do w/figs from my tree...my family has had their fill of fig and mixed fruit (added to figs) jam!
