Good morning James,

Persecution of any type is generally a few trying to become more powerful using others. I think we are seeing it in the world today.

Make yourself an astonishing day.

I also read the book and it was a life changing event that showed how evil works.

That's a great (all be it sad) story James Dray . You are correct, I had never heard of Edith prior to reading this.

James,

I had the same question as Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 had. Yes, I knew about Anne Frank.

You are right, I definitely enjoyed learning about Edith.  I am saddened to learn that she died of starvation though.  I love her last name since it is the same as my good friend Nina Hollander

I'm seeing evidence of evil resurfacing with persecution. Oh, how I hope as a civilization we don't go down this road again.

The story of Anne Frank is an amazing story. We must never forget what happened in the concentration camps of World War II.

Dear James,

Such a tragedy. All that potential wasted for nothing. I am sure, she and her family would have made many more contributions, had they lived.

Wow.  Thank you for the historical narrative about Anne's parents!  I still sit in amazement/disbelief as I watch documentaries from this very ugly period of time.

The RIGHT CHARLOTTE REALTOR!

Like Jeff Dowler, CRS, I knew of Anne Frank burt, not Edith Holländer, James. Another poignant reminder of the horror of the concentration camps. I am thankful that her daughter survived yet, so sad that Edith died of starvation - and only 3 weeks prior to being liberated. Just so heartbreaking!
