Real Estate Agent with Houwzer Inc MD RE License 579412

I don't know about other agents, but, it just seems that it is like pulling teeth to get agents to provide feedback after they have shown one of my listings.

Our standard feedback form asks a series of questions:

Is your client interested in the listing?

Please rate your overall experience at this showing

Your (and your client's) opinion of the price

Please rate this listing ( 5=best, 1=worst)

Quite often, all I get is not interested and nothing else or an agent simply does not return the electronic form.

Today I got the best feedback on a newly listed property, I called the agent and gave her feedback about how much I appreciated her provide clear and concise feedback.

Don't be one of those agents that never responds to feedback, when you have a listing you want feedback for your sellers, be courteous and helpful and an agent others want to work with by providing constructive feedback.

We also provide a form at our showings, June. Some thoughtful agents will stop to give feedback, but usually not on caravan day when their goal is to see ten houses in 2 minutes!

BTW - I agree that a number or star system makes it much easier and faster for agents to respond. We certainly get more feedback when we provide forms that are simple and fast.

Good morning June. Never was a fan of the feedback form. Showing agents who see something obvious will point it out and busy agents seldom respond. An interested party will submit an offer. Enjoy your day!

We find ourselves inundated with requests for feedback.  So we pass, and unless  we were really wowed by something we will not respond.  A

Hi June... I don't use those questions in my feedback form. I have a nice note asking for feedback and get virtually 100% response and I'd say at least 75% of the time I get feedback that is useful to my clients. And when I'm asked for feedback, I skip those questions and I provide a well-thought out response as to why my client might be passing on a home.

This is always a "fun" topic to discuss... so many varied opinions on buyer's / broker's feedback and interest.   The dialogue I always have with the Sellers when prepping them for the listing process, is that you may ONLY receive 20% of the feedback from showing brokers.  AND .. be happy that 10% of that is constructive.  I conclude that the best feedback is, you will have an offer before the end of the day.

Hello June - the feedback topic is certainly a long discussed one in real estate.  Does it really matter?  Hmm.  It is one that needs to be a part of the conversation when listing and/or representing buyers in real estate.
