REO Trans

By
Real Estate Agent with RedKey Realty Leaders RB14030382

Has anyone had luck with REOTrans.com??  I signed up a few months ago, paying extra for about 6 zip codes, and have been "viewed" 155 times, but no bpo requests or assignments.  I also posted another reo I have on there as well.

What has the experience been for you??  Just curious if it will pay off any time soon.

I have not had any success with them as of yet.  No requests, no assignments, NOTHING!!  I have had better success with others than with this one.

Lisa -

Actually - I have had an excellent experience with both REO Direct Partners and REOTrans.  I signed up for both and have had excellent results.  Personally I am local to REO Direct Partners and have been at their office on numerous occasions.

REO Direct Partners and REOTrans have excellent customer service and excellent support but from personal experience, each company will be like a relationship.  Its a building process and a time process as well - which for me resulted in lead listings -

Lisa - I hope this helps,

I Signed up with REOTRANS and have several extra zip codes I am paying for.  I have not set up a profile with my picture etc. yet.  Everytime I log on to the site and sit there waiting to get a BPO assignment, nothing comes up.  I keep refreshing etc.  Then minutes later I recieve emails with numerous BPO assignments.  I called REO trans, and they said that is because several agents are logged on at the same time.  Why do they not appear available when I'm logged in. Also, does it help to pay the extra money to be REOTRANS Certified? Platunum?  Does this really help get REO listings.  If anyone has any advice, could you be so kind to pass it on.  Thank you so much!

i to have spend the extra money for the platinum and extra zip codes etc, the problem with the bpos is you need a server or seomthing that can keep loggin in for you,  there is no way that there are people just sitting at their computer at 2am looking to make $50 on a bpo and they are all accepted within seconds.

Also, does it help to pay the extra money to be REOTRANS Certified? Platinum?  Particularly for REOs.

I have the upgrade with reo prep and it has paid off, and now after reading this I think I will give reo trans another shot with the platinum.

I've been paying $60 a month for a bunch of zipcodes in MN.  I haven't gotten one listing.  I have been doing a lot of work under my partners account but can't seem to get any listings myself.  Any advice would be very much appreciated

Im listed with a few different REO companies, (reotrans, reo direct partners, etc) all whom have worked out for myself.  I am very pleased with their services, and I will continue to list and sell properties with them until they've run out, at this point I dont see that happening any time soon.  Hope this helps!

REO Trans recently changed its name to Equator.  Could anybody please tell me if it is worth paying their $500 a year for their platinum certification?   Or any of their certifications???   That's a lot of money if it won't result in listings.

Regarding REO DIRECT PARTNERS - Sorry to say, i think I've been scammed as well.  They promised reimbursement if you never got any business. But they didn't say anything about no return phone calls or emails.  In fact the phone number on their home page is out of order. What does that tell you?

I havent had any problems getting reimbursed. Other than time ha ha. Either way I have been happy with reo prep and equator lately.

I have not received one listing from them.  In fact I am a member of a NABPOP and I have heard everyone say that they are not recieving anything as well. In fact have you ever stopped to  think of how many agents are out there right now paying for this fee?  If you take 10 people paying 60 bucks a month thats 600.00 bucks!  Well we all  know that there is far more agents  out there. Thats how these companies are staying alive. Honestly the best way to get REOs is to do BPOs and work on your short sales.  Building a relationship with them is a good way to get your foot in the door. Also your commission is low on some listings like 1%  and most require out of pocket expenses (such as Elec, repairs, etc)
