Distractions while driving, what do you think about? Everyone immediately goes to cell phones, w
hich are bad, but that is certainly not the end of the list! Just for fun, I typed in distractions which driving into adobe images. Of course Google would have been a wealth of information on this source, but I wanted to take a different avenue. Over 16,000 images popped up. Yes, cell phone use was at the top of the list, but so much more!
1. Having your pet on your lap, (there are pet seat belts)
2. Putting make-up on
3. Reading newspaper! (Really)?
4. Multi-tasking (leave that for the office)
5. Eating, this one is very popular.
6. Cell phone!!!!
7. Kids!
8. Radio
9. Rubber-necking
10. Loose items in the car, trying to protect them.
Crazy, right? So much we are responsible for while we are driving around in a 2000lb vehicle. Think about that next time you can't wait to get to the office to check out that article in the newspaper.
