Are you tired? Stressed? Or just can't seem to find motivation lately?
You aren't alone. In the year 2020, it seems to be the norm. But there's one critical element that can fix all of this.
So, for just a moment, emotionally step away from your life and consider it as though you were a stranger.
Now, evaluate these direct questions from podcaster and mental performance coach Justin Su'a:
"What do you read?
What do you watch?
What do you listen to?
How do you spend your time?
Who do you spend your time with?
Who do you learn from?
What do you eat?
How do you take care of your body?"
(write down you answers if you can!)
Input Equals Output
Now, take these answers and decide if they are in your best interest. Do these actions that you do daily inspire you? Do they help you in some way? Are you giving yourself the quality self-care that you need to be at your BEST?
If you are frustrated with how you feel or your overall performance, chances are your input is unsatisfactory. Perhaps you spend too much time watching the news, eating junk food, or spending time with toxic people. That's ok. Now you know where to improve. And now is a great time to begin.
Find Better Input
It's not as hard as we think to improve our input.
Make small changes and they'll lead to massive changes in the long term.
Remember, your input becomes your thinking, which becomes who you are. And this will always directly impact what you do.
To be the best version of yourself, you must surround yourself with the highest quality that you can find.
"The happiness of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts." - Marcus Aurelius
