When I decided to get into Real Estate I was amazed by the number of people that could pick up a phone and get their foot in a door. I was equally amazed at how many of these same people that had gotten their foot in the door had that same home they listed expire. Why take on a job if you are not going to give it your all?
I have learned from some of the best about really putting your elf out there and challenging yourself to really make a difference. MY frined Tom lives by this notion. He believes the more you give back the more you will be rewarded.
I have other friends that their customers and clients are their best friends.
I have a friend that has dog is loved like a mascot and young and old look forward to getting a big kiss from Lars.
I have other friends that will look at customers and clients and really give them their word that if they cannot work it out they can have their listing back. The funny thing is that these people will roll up their sleeves, and get a game plan to get the property sold.
Often, it is hard to be blatingly honest with people and tell them things they may not want to hear. I would rather be the one that lest them done down than later. People today want honesty, no bull, and will respect me for putting all the cards on the table.
That si probably why I have closings on a regular basis, and others may not.
I owe a lot to my peers, and I am blessed to be part of a team that could run GM if they had to.
Sincerely
