Anyone know how to make a towel swan?
My attempt looked more like a chicken exploded than a swan. They are so cool, and I would love to make one to display on a soaker tub or large bathroom vanity.

It's called Towel Origami and believe it or not... there are books out there filled with ideas for folding your towels (just like the cruise ships).

Cannot do swan towels or anything like that but boy if you have ever been on a cruise you cannot believe the amazing things they do with towels. When you finally master one I would love to see the pic, actually the chicken that exploded would be funnier

They did this on or cruise to Alaska. Every night after dinner there would be one on our bed, or one hanging from the ceiling. It was always fun to see what they were going to do next. Would be cute in a childs bathroom or on thier bed. Great for guests!

I just went to an interview the other day and the client asked if I could please fold the towels like roses. He said that he saw it done on TV and REALLY wanted the towels in the bathrooms folded like that.
OK....... we definately need to "groom" our Realtors on what our REAL expertice is here. I guess I need to practice towel folding.

* put some rose shaped soaps on a flat folded towel and move on.

Hello everyone- I found the perfect way to create my own towel fans, folds and designs. I just simply and carefully pack it into my suitcase (grab 2 incase you make a mistake) then when you get home, gently un wrap the design step by step then put it back together and now you will know how to make the perfect towl designs you saw on vacation! I will post some pics of my beautiful Jamacian towel art.

So great to see you on the site! We took a cruise on Royal Caribbean and they folded the towels every night into animals - monkeys, lions, elephants, swans. . . it was so creative. Of course, I had to take them apart and try to reverse engineer them thinking I'd remember. Of course there would have to be an entire website devoted to towel animals (thanks, Leslie)! Jennie, we went on a cruise a couple of years ago and I tried to figure it out also, now to everyones dismay I sometimes demonstrate how to make a snake out of a towel. It's getting to be old at my house so I won't be demonstrating too much longer.
