Today, as every September 11 for the past 19 years, I reflect on when our nation was in shock as terrorists attacked our country. We all promised to never to forget 9/11 and I have since correlated this event with December 7th, 1941 when the Empire of Japan invaded Pearl Harbor.
Ironically, as we are still in the grips of a Pandemic shut down that has taken many lives, impacted our economy, financial markets and of course real estate, I cannot help but see the strong parallels to nineteen years ago. Just like with 9/11, the virus was man-made and there has been much debate if it was intentional or accidental; we will likely never get to the bottom of it in my lifetime.
As a Beverly Hills Realtor, I continue to monitor the situation and do my best as always to take care of my clients as effectively as possible during these challenging times. Yes, even during the Pandemic people are buying and selling real estate. The reasons are many but most importantly we are a nation of free thinkers, free spirits and we continue to support the American Dream and our great Heritage of Liberty and Freedom from oppression and freedom to own your own properties.
Never forget.
Wishing you a safe and healthy life and I look forward to your comments.
