Perfect Home Improvement Project for Each Season

Education & Training with Get Green Be Well

As much as I try to pretend it's not happening, summer is quicky turning into fall. The weather is changing, the sun angles are different, and I find myself getting excited about holidays on the horizon.

Seasons change. It's a constant in life. You have to be able to adapt to the changing seasons to be successful and happy.

With each season, there are opportunities that are perfectly suited for it. And the same goes with home repair and improvements.

There's no sense in fighting the weather. Or being stressed about needing to get something done ASAP.

That's why we should work with the seasons when improving and renovating homes.

Some examples:

  • Fall: Caulk your Windows
  • Winter: Interior Painting
  • Spring: Laying new floors
  • Summer: Roof repairs

Here's more perfect home improvement projects for each season. Do you have any on your list?

Good Morning Kimberly Button

Yep, the Fall Honey-do list. Our big project this year was to redo the deck. It came out nicely and we used a contractor that many of the neighbors has used. We all keep him busy

Get ready for Halloween. I think I will go as a COVID patient with a mask, shield and gloves walking around in a quarantine balloon.

and a good reminder Kimberly as I was mowing outside there are some leaves I already need to remove blocking my gutter guards from the valleys that washed them down with the rains we have had.  Welcome to Active Rain!

Thank you! Yes, the leaves are already falling here. We've been mowing over them to use as mulch.

Rather than chalking check weathe striping on metal windows, we replaced the old dual pane windows to triple pane vinyl windows. It makes the home interior a lot brighter also. Money is well spent.
