Many of you know we specialize in homes located in soothing environments - ViewHomes of Clark County with Nature as Neighbors. Although, we're guessing, more of you associate us with the MultiGenerational homes niche. It's understandable, since we live in a multigeneration home ourselves.
Multi-generational homes is a specialty many real estate agents have ignored, even though its popularity has quietly increased over the last decade. And recently, with many adult children returning home due to job-loss, or remote learning instead of in-college classrooms, the demand for multi-gen homes has really gained steam.
Another trend we're noticing is a desire to share a self-sustaining lifestyle with two or more generations. Once again, triggered by the current state of an unsettled world. This situation generally involves a property with two separate homes, or even three. Or, a property with the potential to build more than one residence.
There are so many factors to consider prior to purchasing and moving into a multi-gen lifestyle. We will be sharing our first-hand experience, and expertise, next Tuesday during the Active Rain Zoom meeting at 2:00 PM - EST (11-AM PST). If you want to learn more about this lifestyle from agents who have been living and specializing in it for more than 10 years, we'd love to have you join us.
