Coming to Steamboat Springs this time of year is fabulous. The weather was in the mid-70's to 80 degrees, less visitors and less traffic, especially during the week. There were still tourists, just not as many as they saw over the Holiday weekend.
I like to walk the shops downtown and see all the unique things - and this was one of them. It was at a gallery, which I thought was fitting.
The gondolas were not running today, nor were many shops open in the Village at the base of the ski resort.
I went into the Steamboat Grand Hotel just to walk around, and Liv Sotheby's had an office, and a rack of properties in the hotel available. The highest was $829,000 for full ownership of a 3 bedroom/4 bathroom unit with 2673 sf. That really wasn't that bad, thinking of how much our condos are in Downtown Denver. The least expensive one was 1 bed/1bath, 779 sq ft for 1/8 share ownership for $49,900, and the annual HOA fee was $2,142.
There are a few trees turning a bit yellow, but a bit too early for the trees to be turning just yet. Had pizza at the Blue Sage Pizza today, and they serve by the slice - it was FABULOUS!
