INTERNATIONAL COASTAL CLEANUP: Keep PCB Beautiful is teaming up with Gulf World and Gulf World Marine Institute to clean up from the county to city piers in Panama City Beach followed by a cookout for volunteers.
PANAMA CITY FARMERS MARKET: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at Gateway Park on Harrison Avenue in Downtown Panama City with local produce, food products and handmade items.
THE MARKET AT ST. ANDREWS: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday year-round at 1209 Beck Avenue along the Yacht Basin next to the Shrimp Boat Restaurant. Rain or shine. Locally crafted items, fresh produce, live music.
GRAND LAGOON WATERFRONT FARMERS MARKET: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays year-round off Thomas Drive in the parking lot at Capt. Anderson’s, 5551 N. Lagoon Drive, in Panama City Beach with products from local makers, bakers and growers; dog-friendly.
CARRABELLE COUNTRY FARMERS MARKET: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT on the first and third Saturdays of each month at the foot of the Crooked River Lighthouse, 1975 U.S. 98 W., Carrabelle. Featuring community vendors with locally made goods, fresh roasted coffee, veggies, plants, art, baked goods, photography, craft items, and unique maritime items in the Lighthouse Gift Shop.
TRUMP BOAT PARADE AND SHELL ISLAND TAKEOVER: 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Shell Island with live music, speakers include Congressman Neal Dunn, and food; hosted by Bay County Republican Party of Florida. Boat parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Hathaway Bridge; Shell Island Party begins at noon. Pre-registration encouraged, but not required. Registration includes swag bag with Trump Navy shirt, Bay Force drink koozie, and entry for prize drawing for gifts donated by local businesses. In the case of bad weather, event might be postponed to the following week.
CHEF PAUL STELLATO COOKING CLASS: 10:30 a.m. at Somethin's Cookin', 93 E. 11th St., Panama City with Chef Paul Stellato coming out of retirement to demonstrate one of his grouper/pork tenderloin recipes, taking guests back to his Canopies days.
PLANT WALK: 1 p.m. EDT at Crooked River Lighthouse, west of the Carrabelle Public Beach Park at 1975 U.S. 98 W., Carrabelle. Herbalist Denise Williams will take visitors for a 30 minute plant around the grounds of the lighthouse and point out medicinal plants. The guided walk costs $5 and will accept a maximum of 10 people.
