1 Corinthians 10:13
“No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”
When we talk about the distractions of the world, bad company, and sinful nature these are all things common to most people. The fruits of the Spirit are most desirable when you have spent enough time walking in God’s ways, but yet the old nature of a human is for some reason or another drawn to worldly things and worldly ways.
Whatever leads you astray from the life you would really want with God does not rip you away from God, but the temporary moments of straying away from God do help point us even more to our need for God. Going off path normally leads to some sort of set back or delay of our true hearts desires. But God never lets us get so far off track that we can never get back in tune with the fruits of the Spirit. Instead you will realize now even more than ever before that when you are lost in the wilderness of the world how much more you would like to be home with God in his heavenly ways. Thus, God has a way back. If you are walking in the ways of God then you can help someone else navigate their way back to living a life with the Lord!
GOD YOU ARE FAITHFUL! HELP ME TO BE AWARE OF THE TEMPTATIONS OF THE DAY AND TO QUICKLY LET YOUR LIGHT GUIDE ME BACK. HELP ME ALSO BE A GUIDING LIGHT BACK FOR OTHERS WHO ARE OFF TRACK!
