These are great cost effective suggestions. Personally, I will soon be upping the game with professional photos though. Side by side there is a difference. I've taken my own up until now but recently had this conversation and was convinced to consider the expense. Otherwise, I think these are wonderful  strategies for marketing on a budget and ones which I employ.

I do not agree with "taking your own photos' unless you are a professional, experienced photographer!  Rates vary by area, but I gladly pay $100-$200 for photos of my properties, a bit more if a drone is used. WORTH IT>.

There is always a cost of doing business, therefore, as an agent you must determine if accepting a listing is going to be profitable enough as an opportunity.  This and other important considerations must be included in a business plan, so, marketing to various listing price points should determine how much marketing expenses can be utilized.

Photos by a professional is always better but so is staging and other areas of optimal visualization. So, prioritizing your needs to market a property from a budget successfully is essential.
