Today Dustin Luther of Rain City Guide invited the Authors of Rain City Guide to get together via phone to produce an Audio Roundtable using TalkShoe Within a short period of time after the live call in "show", Dustin posted the conversation we had on the blog.
The conversation was quite long and I can't seem to fast forward it, but for a first attempt it was pretty awesome. We hope to have these weekly on the same day and at the same time. I expect future conversations will be more topic oriented. This was just a chance for our readers to hear our voices and get a better feel for who we are outside of the flat print medium.
I prefer audio to video because I can listen to it and continue working the same way someone can be more productive while listening to music or a radio than if they are watching TV or a movie.
The TalkShoe feature in the link above has "Create Your Own Call" invitation. I wasn't involved in the technical aspects, but after you see the result I strongly recommend your giving it a try. I don't think Audio or Video will replace blogging, but it's a nice added feature if used in moderation.
