South Peak at Loon Mt Riverfront and Slope Side home sites June update.
A few notable changes have been made at this waterfront development that will make building a home more affordable for the folks that have never under taken a custom build before.
#1) We have been allowed by the Architects review board to lower the minimum square footage a home must be to be in compliance to the building standard in south Peak. While all other aspects of the design process will remain the same, a home owner need only build 1,500 square feet of living space (with a maximum of 6,000 square feet) on the South mountain road portion of the development (primarily due to waterfront set backs).
#2) Underground utilities are nearing completion on the home sites and completed paved roads are a benefit on the subdivision. These features will allow homeowners to design their elevations to take advantage of mountain or river views with out the need for any overhead wires or other obstruction in the neighborhood.
#3) lastly to help a future home owner picture the design standards and concepts, we have partnered with Moss Creek homes. They offer Adirondack and rustic cabin designs that can be easily formatted to comply with the development’s design guidelines.
Having it all may require building it, and definitely it requires a great deal of patience. But in the end owning a White Mountain home that boast direct access to the Pemigewasset River and ski slopes and lifts right out your back door is a truly unique opportunity.
