When The Workaround Goes Wonky(Again)
In February of 2019, I wrote a post titled The Workaround. A workaround is a fix that has been known to be effective in real estate and real life as well as, on more than one occasion, with ActiveRain. I have certainly felt the need to find ways to solve issues in each.
Finding the right workaround is a part of life. Sometimes it can be successfully found and other times a different solution may be right. Perhaps, it is only a temporary “fix” or permanently “give up”.
My mind wandered until I found my way to my email inbox where I saw that June is National Aphasia Awareness Month. If you're anything like I was in the past, you might think it was just another email that sought to raise awareness(and some much needed donations, of course). Previous to 2018, my relationship with the word was rather limited. I had seen and heard the word but didn't think much about it.
Things change and as part of that change workarounds of all kinds seem to take a new and different meaning in everyday life. While the subject of that particular email was aphasia, situations of all kinds require workarounds.
A recent post by Carol Williams reminded me of the importance of reading our past posts. You know, there can be a lot of “value” found there. Even, if I am the only one in the audience.
