Picturesque is the walk along the Papago Walk Path. The Sun and the clouds make the views often a photographer's dream. These are the papago Buttes, and if you would like to sound like a local, you will pronounce the word [bjuutz]. It took me a while before I stopped calling them the red rocks at Papago Park.
I often see jack rabbits, doves and quails on my walks in the park here.
The quails were having fun in the dust - while I was waiting for them to cross, I tested my video skills, too.
Papago Park is within 15 minutes from Tempe and provides easy walking, hiking, and connecting with Nature, while still being close to the city.
