Tim La'Ray... featured artist at the 2008 Georgia Sea Island Festival....

Glynn County's extremely talented artist, Tim La'Ray is a long time friend.  I have pleased and honored to know Tim and would like to share a chance for you to see his work at the Georgia Sea Island Festival 2008 as well as hear his interviews. 

This weekend (June 21-22) St. Simons Island will host the 2008 Georgia-Sea Islands Festival.  Thursday, during WJCL's "Good Morning" and FOX28's "AM Alive" broadcasts, anchor Lyndy Brannen will interview Tim La'Rav, featured artist of the Sea Islands Festival. 

Event: Georgia-Sea Islands Festival 2008 Saturday, June 21 (11am - 6pm)  Sunday, June 22 (Noon - 6pm)  Location:  Neptune Park  Beachview Drive  St. Simons Island, Georgia 31522  (912) 265-0620

All are welcome and invited to come enjoy this FREE cultural celebration unique to the Golden Isles of Georgia.  Experience Geechee-Gullah music, food, and traditional crafts.  Event sponsored by the St. Simons African-American Heritage Coalition.

Hi Julie,

Thanks for the blog on Le'Rav/Tim Ransom. He took Savannah's morning television by storm this week as he appeared on three of their network morning TV shows, including the best rated coastal mid-morning show, "Mid-Morning Live with Sonny and Jody."

Fyi - beginning July 1-31, "THE LE'RAV EXHIBIT" will be on display at The Brunswick-Glynn County Library (downtown) and some of his paintings are on exhibit at Gallery 209 in Brunswick, GA and more can be viewed at ransomhouse.com.
