There are many things that happen outside of these borders, and it is necessary to be prepared to handle a situation at a moment’s notice. You can apply that reasoning and state of mind to your children’s and dog’s safety. You can work very hard to prevent accidents, but there is no way to stem the tide permanently. There are ways to be prepared, as well as not make the same mistakes twice. With certain times you may look at a certain item, and after it I was in your home, you can feel foolish for not predicting whatever harm it brought. Your doctor and your vet contact info should be readily available. It is also a good idea to have a pet carrier on hand in case you must run off to the vet on short notice. If your dog is too big for a carrier, be sure to be ready to transport your dog. Know what they like and how they deal in the car, to help them when it comes to it. IF you have followed this blog series by now, you should have all the right top-level precautions needed to make your home a safe sanctuary. Your family should feel comfortable and safe while at home because that is where you have the most control over the customization of the environment.
