What I have learned from this pandemic is we seem to take for granted human relationships. The sad part is- most don’t realize this until it is taken away. Social gatherings are a huge part of our mental and sometimes physical health. Whether it’s family time, social gatherings at a restaurant or even as small as meetings with colleagues. In order for the economy to keep rising and the world to keep turning we need socialization. It is perfectly normal for the human species to not realize how important something is until it’s gone or not allowed to be done. We are truly in this together and we need to stand together. We need to have more understanding for one another and help when it’s needed or can be provided.
Most importantly- we need to stop thinking for just ourselves. Another important note is that we are never really promised a steady income or help from the government. We need to focus on the what if’s. We need savings and security. Maybe a little more thinking and a little less spending. Real estate being shut down was detrimental. I’ve watched people need to sell their homes and couldn’t and I’ve watched people need to buy homes and couldn’t. How this was not essential- we will never really know.
