My Pandemic Garden

Real Estate Agent with GreatWest Realty DRE# 00827565

During this pandemic I have really enjoyed spending time in my garden more. I have planted six tomato bushes, some squash, and herbs. Also, the yellow Canna lilies along with  the golden Hibiscus are blooming.  They add contrast to the purple Flying Saucer Morning Glory entwined among the Jasmine along a fence line. In another area of the yard, the Stargazer lilies are just beginning to open. My garden smells like a perfume factory.

A heat wave may be difficult on human inhabitants here, but the vegetables in my garden are loving it.
Earlier this morning, I picked a few squash, tomatoes and herbs. We are slated to be slightly cooler (in the low 90s) for the next couple days, before heating up once again.

Have a nice day!

I take pictures for the purpose of remembering fond times.  I do not impose copyright restrictions on this photo, so you may feel free to use, or distribute as you wish.  However, should you need a Real Estate Professional in the Greater Sacramento area, I hope that you will contact me by email or by visiting my website - Thank You!

What a gorgeous garden, and I can just imagine your veggies reveling in the heat  of the day.  We are staying cool here, as the marine layer came back...A

Your garden looks amazing!  There is plenty of contrast there and it looks like a wonderful backyard to spend time in.

Beautiful photos. I laughed when you said it's supposed to be cooler (in the 90s).. Yikes, that's hot!

Enjoy your day.

What a fabulous way to spend time at home,  .  Love seeing the array of colors ... being in Denver, we get tired of the "brown" colors during Winter and Spring (usually around May we start to see colors).

Myrl, your garden is beautiful. We need some heat to help our veggies take off. The cool weather crops are doing fine...of course. Ha.

MyrI I hope you didn't plant 6 cherry tomato plants.  You would have enough for all your neighbors and then some. I love your flowers and your gazebo. What a wonderful place to shelter in place.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel - We managed to dip to 88 degrees today!  However, we will be back in the 90s for the 4th of July!

Brian England - It is pleasant out there, Brian.  I can't get over how fast zucchini grows.  And, they hide under the leaves until they become huge sometimes.

Kat Palmiotti - We are fortunate here in Sacramento.  We don't have a lot of humidity, so it isn't quite as uncomfortable as it might be, if we did!

Hi Myrl- we're having temps like that as well here and with the heat index, it feels like 100 degrees out. I wish I had your green thumb.
