I'm just going to leave this right here for you. A symbol my daughter spotted today while enjoying a moment with her best friends, outdoors, and almost like it used to be. Almost because there's no hugging (yet), and no hand-holding, and a bit of awkwardness as we try to figure out how to smile with words, and play catch without touching.

I'm going to leave this right here for you to encourage you to walk through life with eyes wide open. To zoom in on the details in your immediate surroundings instead of just your computer screen, to pause to appreciate all we still have, and all that is yet to come. Be sure to take moments to ground yourself, to find calm, to shift your focus.

I'm going to leave this right here for you because 2020 has been such a roller coaster ride, and I need this gentle nudge just as much as you do. Mastering one of the busiest and most successful Real Estate Springs of my 16+ career whilst living through a pandemic has been an emotional, gratifying, and rewarding balancing act of wanting to do it all, and wanting to do it all safely.

I'm going to leave this right here for you to remind you that amidst the trauma we are experiencing collectively, these times without precedent, and the uncertainties of what lies ahead... there is SO much good. Compassion. Empathy. Kindness. Positivity. And Love.

I walk most days, and lucky to have a national park within steps of my home. There are a couple of spots where I just sit and take in all that there is around me, meditating on how good life is right now, listening to the birds, the trees rustling and feeling the wind on my face. Nothing like that to relieve any stress.

I have a state park really close by Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543 , and have never appreciated it more than I do now. We are there at least once a week.. other times, I "just" run laps in the school parking lot while my daughters ride their bikes. Just as long as we get outside!

Many positives have come out of these times.. yes, yes, they have Grant Schneider. While it's been tough at times, shifting my focus, and practicing WIN has gotten me through it all. I've adapted, excelled, and used this time as much as possible to stay connected, or reconnect, to learn, to grow. I've tackled home improvement projects, eliminated clutter, freed myself of things that no longer serve me ... but, I cannot wait to be able to spend face-to-face time with family and friends again!

Your title made me laugh, because I must have been focused on beets.

I planted an early row of beets. They came up about 1/4" and have been sitting there that size for a couple of weeks. I look at them every day and think "grow!"

And then today, the rain stopped and the sun came out - and they grew more than an inch in one day!

I am very fortunate to live in the woods, where I experience nature first hand every day. And, we haven't really changed our habits. I've worked from home for 15 years and my husband is retired. We go to town perhaps once a week. The only difference I see is that a few grocery items are still missing and quite a few have gone up in price.

I LOVE beets Marte Cliff - well, I love pretty much all vegetables - and I can only imagine how delicious yours are going to taste!

This post was inspired by the ugliness that is highlighted in the news, and all the positive that surrounds us but doesn't receive the same spotlight. I watch my daughters who - with incredible resiliency are weathering this storm - are choosing to tune out that ugliness, and go looking for heart-shaped flowers instead.

I've been so focused on them - and yes, they've been growing like weeds, albeit the prettiest ones ;)

Thank you very much Jeff Dowler, CRS These times have been such a challenge for our minds and souls with the never-ending breaking news cycle. It's so easy to go down that rabbit-hole, and at times I need to remind myself to shift my focus. Zooming in on positive things, reading tales of heroism instead of gloom, witnessing acts of kindness and paying it forward ... has helped my little family tremendously in surviving and thriving during these times.

I, too, get lost at times Mary and I can tell how it quickly effects my attitude and mindset. My children have been doing better in focusing on the things that bring them joy vs. bringing them down. But I am making sure we get out every single day - we hike, bike, run, walk, and we appreciate these little things that can have a huge impact! Daily breaks away from the various screens are a must.
