6 Wandi Street - recent photo shoot with new toys!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Propertyshoot Real Estate Photography

I've recently taken possession of a wider angle lens (18mm in film terms) and a portable pole that will elevate my camera up to 20 ft - very useful for shooting property exteriors from the bottom of a sloping driveway, or if blocked by fences and hedges.

Hangloosa Property Noosa, a boutique Real Estate agency in Tewantin on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, asked me to photograph 6 Wandi Street, a home lovingly renovated by owners Clynt and Karen using quality materials.

I'm really excited by the photos which I believe will help sell this property quick-smart!

Visit www.6wandistreet.com and see if you agree. (There's even a pole shot!)

Hi Jon,

Can you provide some additional information about the extension pole? Make, model, where you bought it?

Thanks,

Alan

Hi Allen - I bought a 15ft painters/gardeners telescopic pole, bought a $20 video tripod from which I removed the pan head. The pan head will have a collar/clamp which slips over the end of the pole and can be tightened. You may have to pack out the pole end with tape. The pan head will also have a 'plate' fitting that detaches from the head and can be screwed into the bottom of the camera, then the camer can be clipped onto the pan head.

I use my Nikon D70 and really must add a safety wire, but a light point & shoot style camera would be ideal.

Set the timer and hoist 'er up. You may get lucky first time, but easy to check and shoot again.

Visit this Flickr group and search the threads for PAP (pole assisted photography) for more ideas.
